Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Goulburn, Harden & Temora Aviation Museum
The journey begins with morning tea at Trappers Bakery in Goulburn, followed by a scenic drive through pastoral country. Enjoy lunch at Jackson Café in Harden before heading to the Temora Aviation Museum to explore its impressive collection of operational military aircraft.
Check in to your accommodation, then head to the RSL Club for happy hour and a two-course dinner.
Day 2Barellan, Berton Winery & Griffith Town Tour
Breakfast at the Temora Rural Museum, then on to Barellan, hometown of tennis legend Evonne Goolagong Cawley, for morning tea. Head to Berton Wines for a tasting and talk.
Continue to Griffith for lunch at The Sugar Mill Café and a guided town tour, which may include a viewing of the soft sculptured curtain. Happy hour and a 2-course dinner at your accommodation.
Day 3Altina Wildlife Park, Cotton Gin & Festival Launch
After breakfast, visit Altina Wildlife Park for a wildlife experience with refreshments. Lunch at the Whitton Distillery Malthouse (lunch and tastings at own expense), then a tour and talk at the Southern Cotton Gin.
Free time to explore Griffith and join the Griffith Spring Festival Launch Party, with street stalls, entertainment and paella street food.
Day 4Pioneer Park, Italian Museum & De Bortoli
Enjoy cultural singing and dancing demonstrations, then visit Griffith Pioneer Park and Italian Museum and ride the park train.
Head to De Bortoli Winery and Gardens for a garden visit, wine tasting and antipasto platter at the cellar door. Finish with a driving tour including a lookout, then happy hour and a 2-course dinner.
Day 5Coolamon Cheese, Junee Chocolate Factory & Young
Check out and travel to Coolamon for morning tea and a cheese talk and tasting at Coolamon Cheese Co. Continue to Junee for a tour and tasting at the Licorice & Chocolate Factory.
Head to Young and check in. Happy hour and a 2-course dinner at the Young Services Club.
Day 6Garroorigang Historic Home & Return Journey
Depart for Garroorigang Historic Home for morning tea and a guided tour of the property. Lunch at the Goulburn Golf Club before the journey home, with comfort stops along the way, arriving at your drop-off in the late afternoon.
