Day 1

Southern Highlands Garden & Heritage Trail

Travel in comfort from Sydney to the picturesque Southern Highlands, beginning with morning tea at Lake Alexandra Reserve, Mittagong.

Explore the charming 1820s Red Cow Farm in Sutton Forest, surrounded by beautiful gardens of roses and perennials.

Continue to Harpers Mansion in Berrima, a beautifully preserved colonial-era home with elegant architecture, period furnishings, and a classic hedge maze.

Check into your accommodation in Mittagong and enjoy a relaxing group dinner to conclude the day.

After breakfast, visit Retford Park for a private guided tour of this grand National Trust home and its magnificent gardens, once owned by the late James Fairfax.

Enjoy some free time in Bowral to browse boutique shops and explore at your leisure.

The day continues at Bendooley Estate in Berrima, home of Berkelouw Books and one of the region’s finest wineries. Take part in a wine tasting and wander through the famous book barn before returning to Sydney.
